Attila is a Chef, restaurateur and hospitality consultant with extensive experience leading acclaimed kitchens and launching and developing high-profile restaurants that thrive both operationally and financially. Having worked across some of London’s most respected restaurants as well as founding his own venture and working internationally in the private sector, he brings a knowledgeable, strategic and hands-on approach to every project.
Most recently, Attila was Head Chef and part of the opening team behind One Club Row and The Knave of Clubs in Shoreditch, where he developed the food concept, built the team and operational systems. Both openings quickly earned press and industry recognition, including a “One to Watch” mention in the National Restaurant Awards 2025.
Previously, as Head Chef at Allegra, one of London’s most celebrated restaurants and a National Restaurant Awards Top 100 destination in both 2022 and 2023, he led a produce-driven kitchen renowned for its seasonality, consistency and attention to detail. His work centred on menu development, kitchen systems, and operational structure creating environments that are both creative and financially robust.
Earlier in his career, he was part of the opening team and Sous Chef at Chiltern Firehouse. This shaped his approach to high-volume, high-standard service and structured kitchen leadership.
Attila Gellen
Alice is a communications and brand consultant helping hospitality businesses build meaningful connections with their audiences and achieve lasting impact. With a diverse background across both the operational and communications sides of the industry she has a broad perspective on how brands are built, perceived, and sustained.
Most recently, as a freelance consultant, Alice led global activations for Chef’s Table in partnership with Airbnb Experiences collaborating with leading restaurants and chefs across multiple international cities. She also supported various projects for London On The Inside digital magazine and various restaurant communications agencies.
Previously, as Head of Press at a leading London PR agency, she managed the hospitality portfolio of exclusive London estates such as Shaftesbury Capital and Sloane Stanley Estate. Other work included individual brands such as Chew on This Restaurant Group, Poppies Fish and Chips, Chef Billy Stock and Kathryn Sargent Bespoke Tailoring. Her work helped brands tell their stories, reach the right audiences and grow their reputation and supported business growth.
Alice’s career began front of house in restaurants, the private sector and her own venture. This foundation continues to inform her communications work, giving her a well-rounded appreciation of the high-pressure challenges faced by hospitality businesses.
Alice Rance
Attila and Alice have worked together on several occasions. In 2019 they opened Kovaszos Restaurant in Budapest, and gained acclaim in Forbes magazine and was placed #63 in the top 100 restaurants in the country . Veled is their newest venture, a culmination of their experience.
